The UW Young Democrats aim to create a conversation on campus between political parties and to provide a voice for the democratic-minority. Throughout the election cycle, the Young Democrats will work on campaigns and encourage the democrats of UW to get out the vote. We exist on principles of equality, opportunity, social justice, and freedom. Political action, be it activism, protest, voting, campaign support, or other means will be utilized to ensure the preservation of these principles. We believe politics are vital to everyday life and that participating is a responsibility of every individual. Politics to us are defending the rights of others and protecting and promoting the welfare of all people. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting to see where you fit in! To get involved, contact UW Young Dems President Owen Nowakowski (firstname.lastname@example.org).
